Carol has a 24-year history of clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, and families in varying capacities. Carol’s most recent position was working at Children’s Square USA as Supervisor of Outpatient Mental Health and BHIS Services. Carol has extensive training and experience meeting the unique needs of those children/adolescents with Reactive Attachment Disorder and their families. In addition, she has spent many years working with youth/adults and families addressing substance abuse issues, dual diagnosis issues, transitional issues (such as grief and loss), addressing and resolving trauma, as well as working to address childhood/adolescent individual/family relational and parenting issues. Carol uses a variety of therapy approaches to address the varying needs of her clients; these including the use of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Integrative Parenting. Carol is a member of the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology and EMDRIA (EMDR International Association).
