Our Mission:
The mission of Project Harmony is to protect and support children, collaborate with professionals and engage the community to end child abuse and neglect.
Company Overview

Project Harmony is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to respond to the abuse of children ONE CHILD at a time. Our collaborative, child-focused approach ensures that children are not further victimized by the systems intended to protect them. Professionals from Project Harmony, Child Protective Services, law enforcement and the medical community come together at ONE PLACE, so that a child only has to tell of his or her abuse ONE TIME.
Since 1996, Project Harmony has provided services to our community’s most vulnerable children. The majority of these children present with sexual abuse but physical abuse and neglect are also evaluated.
Our service area includes eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

Who we are. The Iowa Aftercare Services Network (IASN) is a group of 10 organizations across the state that have come together to support youth who have aged out of foster care. Over the last decade, IASN has evolved and grown to effectively serve more than 700 former foster youth each year in the Iowa Aftercare and Preparation for Adult Living programs.

What we do. IASN assists young adults meet the challenges of living independently and achieving self-sufficiency. We do this by including young adults as equal partners in planning and programming, building on positive beliefs and self-identity, focusing on strengths, letting them make choices and learn from their own mistakes, helping young adults make positive permanent connections, and being flexible and accepting them for who they are in the moment. We help young adults set goals for themselves that are reality based, taking into account real life demands.
